Following up!

In my last post, there were two exciting events on the horizon - getting braces off and going to a Conan Gray concert.  Sure enough the "snow day" for which there wasn't any snow or ice derailed the braces, but fear not. We rescheduled and the braces came off this week!

I insisted that we try as much as possible to recreate the photo that we took when she got the braces on. We did pretty well and I was thrilled with the result. The teeth are not the big thing. Rather, the change over the past 2.5 years is what I love to see - from baby face to beautiful young woman! :)

The other excitement was the Conan Gray concert. Needless to say, she had a blast. She met up with Eleanor and some other friends at the concert and then all the girls spent the night at Eleanor's house after the show. Here are the photos that she sent me, with the last one being a selfie with Conan himself in the background.

She was beyond thrilled when they spotted his tour bus after the show and actually got to see him up close! :)

Next on deck is our Spring Break ski trip. I think she is looking forward to it!
