Time, where are you?

Time seems to be flying by! Abbie's semester ended well, but there never seems to be enough time for everything she is trying to get done. Once the semester ended, she spent a few days with me and squeezed in quick visits with Eleanor and Vivian before taking off for Minnesota. Also on the agenda now is applying for summer programs. She had one application due on the 21st, and others are due toward the end of January.

It is also hard to believe that her time in Minnesota is about to come to an end. She flew up with Emily on the 19th and has kept herself busy with shopping, ice skating, time with grandma, cooking, getting herself organized for a new semester, and volunteering. Tomorrow morning, she flies to NYC to see Alden and her friend Miranda. From there, she will be back in Texas on the 6th, just in time to run a half-marathon later that week. Then, the semester will kick into gear. Personally, I get tired just thinking about it all, but I guess I don't have the energy of a 19-year-old. LOL.
