Annual Check-up

Abbie went in for her well-child visit last week, so we have (sort of) new data to report! She is still 5'3" tall, the same as last year, which puts her in the 38th percentile. Even though she has stopped growing at this point, it is still a win in my book.

At school, Abbie has been working on developing her 2nd roll of film in the dark room. She was surprised to discover that the photos her teacher took while she was working appeared, with her name in the caption, on the school's fine arts Instagram page. She stayed after school one day to putter around with her developing and invited me to come see what she was up to. It was fun to watch her work and have her explain the process to me.

Next up - I'll do a separate post about Homecoming so that it doesn't get lost!
