Thanksgiving

Shortly before Thanksgiving break we got two surprises. First, we got Abbie's school picture delivered to us. Its much less formal than last year's picture, but as Grandma P. says, it really captures her personality in addition to her maturing features.
Second, I was surprised to read the weekly school newsletter that went out two days before Thanksgiving. There were lots of messages of thanks from the students and the teachers, but there was also a very special recipe, written by our budding chef. I had to remove the last name for privacy reasons, but I'm sure it won't detract from the overall enjoyment!

A Recipe for the xxxxx Thanksgiving

One grandma
All the food possible
One gallon of thanks
One cup of fire
All the family
2 1/2 cups of football
50 gallons of love
1 grandpa (optional)

First, add all the family and blend with food. Combine 1 cup of fire and 2 1/2 cups of football in one bowl, and in a larger bowl combine 1 gallon of thanks and 50 gallons of love. Add grandpa if possible and put everything in a blender. Turn on high for 30 seconds and you have a traditional xxxxx Thanksgiving.

Grandpa is optional, ha ha. I love this recipe, clearly she put a lot of thought into this. She is a smart and creative girl! Talented.
