School Photo

Abbie just recently got her school photos back. I elected to go with the photo on CD this year, and I think it was a good choice. As you can see, she is looking incredibly grown up!

I think it turned out really well. Apparently, they pushed her pretty hard to smile with her mouth open, but she absolutely refused. The result, I think, is a more sophisticated look.

Also at school, the kids recently had a Dads Night Out event where the dads went to the classroom to receive a special gift and to see what the kids have been working on lately. They also wrote a note for their dads. Here was Abbie's note to Chad:

Ha! Of course, Chad just loved it. Notice that she has taken to signing her name in cursive. She got sick of waiting for someone to teach her cursive, so she just taught herself.
