Easter

Easter was a success again this year. Abbie was very excited about hunting for eggs and was very excited to find that many of them contained money. Above she is showing off some of the treats that were in her Easter basket - in addition to sunglasses and notepads, the girls got socks, bubble wands, sidewalk chalk, glitter glue, and bath crayons.

 

At Easter brunch, the girls got a visit from the Easter bunny. Even more exciting, however, Abbie lost another tooth at brunch. She mentioned that it was very loose, and the next thing we knew, it was in her hand. Unfortunately, we accidentally left it on the table, so we are planning to leave a note for the tooth fairy that explains the situation in the hope that she will leave a dollar anyway.

Other than enjoying a much needed spring break, and a long Easter weekend, not much out of the ordinary has been going on for Abbie. She is already talking about summer break and looking forward to getting out of school. At least part of it is driven by the hope for some warmer weather and the ability to start using the pool on a daily basis. I think we are all looking forward to that!
