Violin Recital

Abbie had a violin recital a couple of weeks ago. She performed one of her Twinkle variations as a solo and also performed one of her new pieces, Lightly Row, with the group. I thought I would post both because it is nice to hear her do a solo, but it is also nice to hear something other than a Twinkle variation. She actually has three songs that she knows now. In addition to Lightly Row, she plays Song of the Wind, and Go Tell Aunt Rhody.

As for Lightly Row, this was the first time that the entire group played it together and I was surprised at how well they were able to stay together.

In March, Abbie will be participating in the local Trophy Festival which will give her an opportunity to play for and get feedback from a teacher that she has never met before. Hopefully she will enjoy that!
