As you likely know, Abbie has been taking ballet lessons at school for the past few weeks. Below is a link to a video that Chad took at one of her lessons.
The fall lessons are over, however, and we are not sure when/if the spring lessons will start. Abbie is definitely interested in doing more ballet. She got the video of the Nutcracker in her stocking this year and really likes watching it.
The newest thing being offered at school is tennis lessons, which Abbie has decided would be fun, so starting next week she will start a series of 5 tennis lessons. If she takes after Mom at all she will likely be counseled out for her lack of coordination!
Abbie is full of quotes, as usual. Chad took her to the zoo over the holiday break and apparently they couldn't find the bird building that they were looking for. After awhile, Chad gave up and said, "Abbie how about you lead the way,” knowing eventually they would either end up there or at the exit - a win-win. Upon finding the bird building, Abbie said “Daddy, see I found the bird building, right?” Chad responded “Yes, you did.” To that she said “and you couldn’t find it, right?” to that Chad said, “Well, that is true.” Abbie responds, “So, that proves that I am definitely smarter than you. If you want, I can teach you some tricks for more smartness.”

What a great video! She looks like she's having fun and that she's learning good coordination! It's good that she's getting exposure to dance and tennis, so she has her options as to where she wants to head more towards! :-)
Wow she seems so talented! "Do you want to try again before you leave?" Other girls "no..." Abbie: "YEEEEEEAH"
I have watched that video no fewer than 20 times, I'm not kidding, and yet EVERY single time I get the giggles ... talk about adorable, such concentration!!
