Taylor Swift!

Its hard to believe that the month of June is almost over! Abbie did a great job of holding down the fort for me at the beginning of the month. I spent a week in Switzerland for work and she took care of keeping the cat fed and happy and keeping the house clean for my return. In exchange, I plied her (and Emily) with decadent Swiss chocolates and truffles. :)

For the past week or so, she has been enjoying cooler temperatures in MN. The big excitement, though, was tickets to the Taylor Swift concert this past Friday.

She and Emily got all dressed up for it. As you can see, they look pretty adorable. Apparently the show was pretty incredible. It was also rather loud, but they had fun anyway.

The next big excitement will be Abbie's two weeks in NYC, which starts next Sunday. Her NYT program will keep her pretty busy, but I think she is going to sneak in some fun, too. She will also likely find some time to check out Barnard's campus, as that is one of the schools on her list. It is hard to truly get a good feel for a campus in the summer, but certainly better than nothing. After that, we will spend a few days in Ithaca checking out Cornell's campus. Again, it won't give her a feel for life in upstate New York in February, but it is better than nothing!
