Baby in the Buddha?

Ever since Jenny (Sam's mom) had a new baby Abbie has been increasingly interested in the idea of having a baby in her Buddha belly. Here, she put one of her dolls in her shirt and was walking around getting ready for its arrival by setting out all kinds of food from her play kitchen (see 2nd photo) - the 2-year old version of nesting, I suppose. It was pretty funny, particularly since she was instinctually touching her belly the way that pregnant women do. We were laughing pretty hard, but simultaneously hoping that this continues to just be pretend for the next 25 years or so. :)

Halloween

Halloween was an absolute blast. Abbie ran all over the neighborhood, got lots of candy, and had a ton of fun. At last I am posting the photos of the ladybug costume.

Below she is posing with the other kids in the neighborhood for a group photo. Everyone gathered at the neighbor's house for pizza before hitting the streets.
