Overwhelmed

I'm sure all parents feel this way but more and more we are just overwhelmed by how adorable Abbie is. She is just the cutest little thing and her personality is just so sweet. She just got over a cold a few days ago and she really enjoys feeling better. She has had so much energy and has been talking and laughing and kicking like crazy. We just love her so much.

Babies love boxes

This morning Abbie and I were opening a new box of diapers. Once we got the box open I suddenly remebered, "That's right, babies love boxes. They love them almost as much as cats do." I had this flashback to when I was a kid and my cousin Sean was about Abbie's age and we put him into a box and pushed him around my grandmother's house all afternoon. I decided to see what Abbie thought. So, into the box she went with a few of her toys. Not too surprisingly, she was totally entertained.

Sitting Up

Abbie is doing a great job of sitting up on her own. She still expects you to catch her when she gets tired and falls over, but she is able to sit up for longer and longer periods of time before she gets tired. She had her 6 month check up today and is up to 14 pounds, which means that she has finally caught up to Boris. :)

Enjoying the weather

This weather has been great and Abbie and Lala have made sure to enjoy it. Here is a picture of them before they headed off for their walk yesterday. Abbie is wearing the jogging suit that she got for Christmas from Grandma and Grandpa and the hat and mittens that Mommy got her. Of course, we were more concerned with keeping her feet warm than keeping her hands warm so we improvised and put the mittens on her feet. :)
